The Saori shuttle shelf can be attached to any of the folding and traditional Saori looms. It is attached in a few minutes and creates a shelf on each side of the beater to rest the shuttle. It also increases the width of the shuttle race, preventing opportunities for the shuttle to fall.

The shelf changes how you handle the shuttle for weaving each row. Instead of a fine fingered hold on the shuttle you use a flattened hand to push the shuttle. This may be useful if you have arthritis or other issues in the fingers or hands.
