It’s on again…the Pics to Picks challenge, mark 2. See here my 2010 challenge adventure.

Meg has been busy organising 19 weavers to explore photographic or other types of imagery for weave design inspiration. Each weaver receives inspiration from someone and gives inspiration to another.  I’m to inspire Terri  in Canada and will receive my inspiration from chewiedox in the US.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do for Terri who is also a Saori weaver. I’m reading beach- a book of treasure by Josie Iselin at the moment and her scanned found objects are amazing. I might try out some ideas with my scanner.

Josie’s scanned images are so translucent and evocative. I’m sure this takes great skill and whacking objects into my tiny scanner won’t cut it but you’ve got to give it a go.  I’ll have to work on my fall back ideas too.

Did I mention that I’m no where near ready to inspire.
