The Saturday weavers carved new ideas onto the Saori looms in the studio. A seascape scarf was developing on one loom, and a grounded landscape on the other. Katie just powered along on the new piccolo creating a mix of brights and brilliants, which she adeptly wove in newly learnt techniques.
Now I have looms waiting for their weavers to return. I can’t describe the feeling of the energy of the weavers relaxing and colouring on the looms. It just feels good to go out to the studio and weave beside the developing cloths. Another one or two sessions and the scarves will be ready to cut off the looms.
